3 Ways to learn New Software Programs Quickly

In this post, I will share on what is the most efficient way to learn new software new software or IT tools that used in every company or organizations. Sometimes, familiarizing software is hard to learn mostly if it is enterprise level.

Here is my method that I prepared.

Method 1: Technical Support Representative

You can contact the Technical Support Representative of that software via Chat, Email or Call and ask about “How if”, “How to”, “When”, “Where”, “What if” and “What” for that features and on each cases and scenarios to use.

Method 2: Checklists and Test Cases

Create a checklists of every features of software and create a test cases and test.

For example, one of the features of the software is to monitor all activity of the user in the computer. So need to install the agent installer of the software in order to appear in the server of the software.

Checklists:

Installing agent software in the client computer.

Test Case

Expected Output: The hostname of the computer will automatically appeared in the lists of hostname in the software.

Step 1: Install the agent installer in the computer and re-start the computer.

Step 2: Check the hostname of the computer if it is in the lists of server software monitoring lists.

Method 3: User and Administration Guidelines

Research the user guidelines or administration guidelines PDF or MS Word file from the internet and download if it is free. Sometimes, User or Administration guidelines are not yet available because it is not free to download for some software, maybe there was a free to download but it is only a limited contents. Other software guidelines are need to purchase through online. You can go through the websites of that software and find out how much the prices needed and how is the payment method.

In terms of payment method, the commonly widely use in digital is PayPal. So, it is need to create a PayPal account and link your bank credit or debit account.
